Sri Ramesha Ramanatha Bhatta, known as Ramesh Bhat, hails from a very traditional Hindu Vedic priest family. After being initiated into the scriptural and vedic studies at a very young age, he gained excellent mastery over Vedas through his invaluable training and practice with the famous vedic schools and Mutts. He furthered his interests in Vedic studies by studying Aranyakam, Brahmanam at Hospet, Vijayanagar, Samhitha, Padam, Kramam Krishna Yajur Veda at Kumbhakonam Shankara Mutt which endowed him with a deep knowledge and understanding of the Veda. The M.A. in Sanskrit from the famous Mysore University imparted him an extraordinary knowledge and mastery over Sanskrit language. On the professional front, he has been fortunate to learn, and practice to perfection the Vedic rituals and Veda Parayanam, Ghanam, Padam, Kramam and Jatam from some of the most learned Vedic Scholars and Priests in India.
He has served as Priest at the Narasimha Ghanapati Bhajan Samaj, Matunga, Mumbai, later at other different parts of India, conducting specialized Vedic rituals and Veda Parayanam, Marriages etc for different communities as per the sect requirements. He served as a Priest in the Sri Siva Vishnu Temple at Lanham, Maryland, US from Apr 2000 to Apr 2003. He also served as a Priest in the Parashakthi Temple, Pontiac, Michigan from May 2003 to Dec 2005. Currently he serves the entire Communities of North America inclusive of United States and Canada performing various Functions, Poojas and vedic rituals and ceremonies like Grahapravesham [House Warming], Sri Sathyanarayana Pooja, Navagraha Shanthi Homam, Vivaham [Wedding], Seemantham [Baby Shower], Shastiabthapoorthy [60th Birthday celebrations], Shathaabhishekam, Shatharudram and aparakarmas
